Translations (of anime-related interviews, info book excerpts, songs, and others) will be open to the public as well. Edited: Actually, I've been really lazy and haven't been doing any translations in the recent years. >_<

Note: I tend to babble/fangirl a lot about my favourite dramas, movies, anime, manga, pairings. I also like to crack a lot of jokes (yaoi, yuri, het) at the expense of characters/pairings I like AND dislike. So if you cannot stand the idea of your favourite characters/pairings being picked on (which isn't meant to offend/anger anyone to begin with), then please don't bother with this journal. I really don't want people suddenly angry at me. Thanks~

Major doujinshi sale post! For two reasons:

1) It's tax season. And lucky me, I have to chip out $6000+ for RRSPs for tax write-off. ;o;
2) I almost had a mental breakdown the other day after coming to a realization of how many doujinshi I have. (You guys don't want to know. XD)

So yeah, I've decided to start letting go of some of my doujinshi. Most are priced at the same price or lower than what I paid for them, many of them ranging from $8 to $15!

Just finished Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix and I'm so confused by the secret ending! Argh!!!

Hmm... anyone know when Kingdom Hearts 3 will be out? Maybe I should start stalking Japanese KH sites instead of sitting in front of my PS2 trying to figure out what's going on using my imaginations.

Code Geass is like Destiny. I can't help but watch what happens next while FULLY KNOWING that I will be pissed.

But anyway, a friend wanted translation of what Suzaku and Euphemia said in this episode.

My prediction of what will happen in the upcoming episodes.

Lelouch will die a "tragic death" by looking into the mirror, moaning about how he doesn't deserve to live after doing what he did to Euphemia, accidentally GEASSing himself, and then committing suicide. C.C. will angst and sing her sorrow to her Cheese-kun pillow. Suzaku, Kallen, Lloyd and Milley will then elope from the series to avoid being infected by the bad script writing. *snorts*

Surpass Hosting suspended my server because they insisted I didn't pay. (So yeah, forum is down and websites are down.)

The other day, I received my credit card bill where I was charged $29 USD by "SURPASSHOSTING.COM LLC"

Edit #1: Surpass Hosting won't even recognize my email address (for me to log in) even though they've been sending BILLS to said email address. I tried the "Forgot your password?" link but when I typed in the SAME email address, they tell me they don't have it on file. *bangs head against wall*

Edit #2: Oh fuck. If they deleted everything on my server, that means I'll need to reinstall the forum again. Did any one of you happen to have backup the forum lately? *looks at wickedchild_md and coley_merrin with pleading eyes*

Edit #3: Oh wait, they reactivated everything after I sent them a reply. Wow... that was quick. The entire ordeal (being suspended, me panicking before and after sending them an email, them reactivating my account) took 15 mins. *_*

Okay, back in September, I changed my registration of my domain from Network Solutions to Netrillium. I thought I had everything changed. I do remember doing something about the nameservers and whatever other things that rinslet and cagalli_chan advised me to do. But just the other day, I got an email from Network Solutions saying my domain expired. And voila! My site is gone, everything is gone.

And the worse part? The website of Netrillium is so fucking stupid that I can't even find the login page to see WTF I did wrong. -____-

So right now, no emails, no websites, no nothing. *goes off to kill something*

Thanks guys, for all your kind and caring words in the previous post. My situation is actually not as bad as I made it seem like. I'm just extra depressed, grouchy and pessimistic before I take my painkillers. And when I wrote up my previous post, that was before I took my medication when I was in pain. Someone tell me, what is the difference between:

1) I love you with all my heart
2) I really really really like you to death

Either way, Sakura was still confessing her feelings, no?

One thing I would like to point out in the Japanese language. Many words in this language can have multiple meanings. At the end, it really comes down to the intensity of that person's words (or more like, how that person says it) to differentiate the meaning.

For example, the word "suki" means "like" literally. But if a person was to say it with intensity and passion, yes it can mean "love".

Let's take a look at Sakura's situation. What she said exactly was:

私はサスケくんが好きで好きでたまらない！！
Watashi wa Sasuke-kun ga suki de suki detamaranai!!

Notice the word "suki" was said twice? It's a wild guess but maybe... just maybe Sakura (and Kishimoto) was trying to put heavy stress on how she "likes" Sasuke.

(And really, why was the poster focusing on just the one word "detamaranai" instead of the entire line - which included the word "suki" said twice - or even the entire passage. It seems to me that she was trying to dodge the main point of what Sakura was trying to say and was trying to get around it by focusing on something else.)

One last thing, the Naruto Character Official Databook stated that Sasuke is the person Sakura loves the most. So do we even need to squabble over whether Sakura said,

"I love you with all my heart!!!"
or
"I really really really like you to death!!!"

And the sad part? People actually took that post seriously.

D: cagalli_chan and I (cagalli_chan more than me) had spent the past 6+ hours trying to reinstall and restore the forum but we encountered quite a handful of problems that we're still trying to figure out. Hopefully, the problems can be fixed by the end of tonight.

The newest set of the Gundam photo collection cell DX came out the other day. I'll have to say I'm fairly disappointed at the Seed/Destiny images. I just flat out don't like the animator who did the Seed/Destiny images for this batch. The Gundam Wing and Zeta/Double Zeta Gundam ones win hands down~

The story begins in our everyday world, when an ordinary high-schooler named Yoko is suddenly confronted by a mysterious blond-haired young man, and told of her destiny. "You are to become the monarch of our Kingdom of Kei," he informs her, wherein she is forcefully hauled away into an alien other-world. Thus Yoko enters a fantastic and magical sphere, reminiscent of that of Chinese mythologies.

This unearthly realm is separated into 12 kingdoms, and is threatened by evil strife and political upheaval. It is populated by horrific monsters, half-beasts, magicians, and ordinary humans as well. Yoko soon learns an amazing truth-that she is actually a "taika" (lit. embryonic fruit) whose true origin belongs to the world of the Twelve Kingdoms, but had somehow been born and raised in the "real" world. The blond-haired man's true identity had been a "Kirin", a sacred creature originally shaped like a unicorn, whose mission is to find the king of its country at heaven's command.

Alone and afraid, thus begins Yoko's long, perilous journey to kei through the various kingdoms. The road is filled with espionage, terror and narrow escapes, and Yoko must endure one crisis after another.

Yet, as she desperately overcomes each ordeal, Yoko comes to realize her underlying strengths and the preciousness of life, as well as her own weaknesses and shortcomings. This richly realized fantasy, packed with eerie creatures and unspeakable dangers, holds viewers at the brink of a make-believe precipice. Will Yoko embrace her destiny? If so, how will she triumph against the savage challenges it presents?

The series is 45 episodes long, though the beginning is a bit on the slow side. It'll probably take you guys a while to get used to the terms and the annoyingness of Yuka. (A good way to avoid getting confused by the new terms is to look at the "Encyclopedia" section of the official website as you watch the episodes.)

But anyway, I'll be uploading the episodes one by one to YSI. I'm hoping to get all 45 episodes uploaded before I leave.

Oh, one last thing before I release the episodes. The format is mkv so you guys will need the Media Classic Player and possibly the Combined Community Codec Pack to view the files and the subtitles.
